ALCA has opened registration of Cockapoo infused Australian Labradoodles. There may be only one infusion in three generations to qualify for registration. The Cockapoo must be registered with the appropriate registry for that breed.
Registration must take place prior to the cut-off date for infusion registry of 1/1/11. Once the dogs are in the registry, their offspring will be eligible for registration.
Effective 1/1/11, ALCA will
no longer register any NEW breeding stock with infusion of any other
breed, to include the Poodle.
Acceptable infusion registry must take place prior to 1/1/11.
If you have young infused dogs that you will be adding to your
breeding program, they must be registered prior to 1/1/11 for their
offspring to be eligible for registration with ALCA.
Offspring of registered
infused dogs will qualify for registry as long as they meet the
current acceptable guidelines for registry.
So, make it a point to register any of your upcoming breeding
dogs which may have an infusion before 1/1/11!
